This museum is in the Episcopal palace, a baroque building from the XVIII century. There is a clear hierarchy of gaps and very little ornamentation in the façade. A small cloister and a stairs, with a dome and a gallery with columns can be observed on the side of the building that looks on to the river.
What you can see inside: religious themed art, Romanic, gothic, renaissance and baroque sculptures; gothic, renaissance, baroque, neoclassic and romantic paintings, such as work by Paolo de San Leocadio, Velázquez, Orrente, Vicente López, etc.; Silverwork by the Valencian and Toledo Schools: missals and choir songbooks.
