The Department of Tourism of Orihuela continues with the execution of its Tourism Sustainability Plan in Destination (PSTD) by awarding the contract for construction management and health and safety coordination for the works of Project 4: "Energy efficiency in public lighting and tourist spaces".
This contract, framed in the Recovery, Transformation and Resilience Plan and financed by the European Union – Next Generation EU, has been awarded to the company ESTUDIOS Y PROYECTOS FRALOIR, S.L. for a total amount of € 6,897 (VAT included).
The purpose of the action is to ensure the correct technical execution and safety of the works aimed at replacing public lighting with low-consumption LED technology in different tourist areas of the municipality, including the Punta Prima promenade, Playa Flamenca, La Zenia, Cabo Roig and Campoamor. This measure aims to reduce energy consumption, reduce CO₂ emissions and optimise municipal costs.
